Your life continues, stronger.
SocialVeda is a social network with a beginning, a middle and an end. You arrive with an intention, meet something worth your time, think about it, act on it if you like, and leave. There are no ads, no infinite feed, and no way to buy your attention. Not by policy. By constitution.
We open one campus and one city at a time, so your first session is never an empty screen. Adults 18 and over first. India and global.

A session, not a feed
Every visit is a short, composed journey of five to twelve items, sized to the time you choose. It has five parts, and the fifth is leaving.

- SankalpaIntention
"I have twelve minutes. I want to laugh, understand, connect, create, decide or rest."
- PravāhaThe journey
Five to twelve items chosen for that intention and that time. Numbered. Finite. Nothing loads after the last one.
- VimarśaReflection
One question, one counter-view or one piece of evidence. Answer it, or skip it. Nobody is scoring you.
- KriyāAction
Make something, help someone, take a real-world step, or write down a decision. "Not now" is a complete answer.
- PūrṇaCompletion
A receipt of what you gained and the time you gave. Then the app steps back and lets you go.
Seven things we can never do to you
These are written into the company's constitution, guarded by an independent trust, and changeable only by a supermajority of the people who use SocialVeda. A board cannot vote them away. Neither can a buyer.
- Your right to finishNo infinite feed, no autoplay into the next thing, no fake unread counts.
- Your right to choose the objectiveYou set what your journeys optimise for. You can see why every item appeared, change the weights, reset, or switch personalisation off.
- Your right to be left aloneNotifications only for things you asked for. None at night. No "we miss you".
- Your right to know when you're being nudgedEvery design that tries to influence what you do is listed publicly, with its purpose and its off switch.
- Your right not to be scoredNo follower counts on show, no leaderboards, no ranking of people. Your growth is yours to share or not.
- Your right to leave with everythingExport all of it within 24 hours. Delete within 30 days. Your credentials stay valid wherever you go.
- Your right to a humanAny automated decision about you can be appealed to a person. Crisis support always reaches a person.
Two more promises sit above these, and can only ever be strengthened: no advertising of any kind, and no sale of your data to anyone. If SocialVeda ever broke either, every member would be told, offered a complete export, and kept on for a year regardless. That is the remedy written into the articles.
Belonging in groups of eight to twelve
A Micro-Crew is a small group with a stated purpose, a weekly ritual, and a steward who rotates. It has a lifespan you renew on purpose, and you can leave silently, with no announcement and no penalty.
Crews are where people study together, get through a hard season, learn a skill, or just show one thing they made each week. Membership is by invitation. There is no searchable list, no forwarding outside the Crew, and no comparison between Crews.
Your first session ends with an invitation to one. Nobody on SocialVeda faces an empty screen alone.

Friend (Sakha), the AI that helps you leave
Sakha means friend. Your Friend composes your journeys, explains why each item is there, answers with sources, and closes the session when you've got what you came for. It is an AI, it says so, and it will not try to make you need it.
- Every fact comes with where it came from and how sure your Friend is. When it doesn't know, it says so.
- You can see, delete and export everything it remembers about you. Memories fade on their own.
- It will never say it missed you, never pretend to be a person, and never pretend to be someone you've lost.
- It sells nothing and steers you toward nothing anyone paid for.
- If you need a person, it gets you one.
Promises you can check
A social network should be able to show its work. These are the commitments that are verifiable today, and the reports that will make the rest verifiable.

We will describe SocialVeda as "designed to" improve things until we have measured that it does. When we publish numbers, the method will be linked beside them.
Who it's for, and when
Now: adults 18 to 24
We start with the people who spend the most time on short video and get the least back: students and early-career adults. Comedy that's actually funny, adulting knowledge that's actually useful, and a Crew that's actually there.

Next: adults with less time than they'd like
Deep knowledge in the time you actually have, an evening mode that winds down with you, and Crews formed around work, parenthood and the things you're finally learning.

Later: children, built separately
Baal SocialVeda will be its own product with its own safety architecture, parent visibility and no profiling of any kind. It opens only after independent child-safety validation, not before.

Join the waitlist
We open one community at a time. When yours opens, you'll get one email. If it doesn't, you'll hear nothing from us, which is the point.
Free to join. Never ads. Paid tiers later buy depth, never reach. You can leave with everything, any time.
